About DatumBase

Five basics, made to be checked.

DatumBase makes the supplements many adults already take. Every dose is printed on the label, and every lot has its own report from an independent lab.

A seal is not a result

Plenty of supplement labels say "third party tested." Few say what the test found, or whether it was run on the batch you bought. A seal covers a brand. It says nothing about the bottle on your counter.

So the line is short, and each product is built to be checked: magnesium glycinate, vitamin D3 with K2, omega-3 fish oil, creatine monohydrate and an unflavored electrolyte mix. Each is a single ingredient or a short formula, with the exact amount of every ingredient on the label.

Each production run gets a lot number, printed on the bottle. Samples from that run go to an independent lab, and the report is filed under the number. Type it into the lot lookup and you read what the lab measured for that run.

Four things left out on purpose

  1. Proprietary blends

A blend lets a label name ingredients without saying how much of each is inside. Every amount on our labels is a number in milligrams, micrograms or grams.

  2. Words that promise a feeling

The label gives the dose and the report gives the measurement. We print both and leave the adjectives out.

  3. Disease claims

Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and we do not suggest otherwise. Whether to take one, and how much, is a question for your doctor.

  4. Marketing to anyone under 18

DatumBase sells to adults. No ad, text or offer of ours is aimed at anyone younger.

The rules we hold ourselves to

Open one for the detail.

The label is the specification

Every ingredient and amount on this site matches the label exactly. When a label changes, the page changes with it.

A report belongs to a lot, not a product

Reports are filed by lot number. A new production run gets its own test and its own report, even when the product is the same.

Print the figure, skip the adjective

Where another label might say pure or potent, we print the measured result and the limit it is held to.

Sample data is marked as sample data

Until real lot reports are published, every report on this site carries a "Sample report" tag in its header, and the lab is listed as Independent lab.

Costs come before the commitment

Product prices, shipping and renewal terms are on the page before the review step of an order, never after it.

Dosing is your doctor's call

This site is not medical advice. Each label gives a serving size; whether it suits you is between you and your doctor.

One set of contact details

The phone number, email address and office address are the same on every page of this site.
